SecureDELTA creates secured diff files

SecureDELTA application creates a SECURE BINARY DIFF FILE, we called SECURE PATCH

As specified in the previous slides, SecureDELTA creates a SecurePATCHTM file.

Let's resume the example above: A SECRET KEY is appended in the end of the TARGET FILE. This means that the source file will have to be ‘patched’ with a binary diff (delta) file containing a SecretKEY.

This is the target content appended at the end of the target file with the secret KEY:

The SecurePATCH binary diff file created by SecureDELTA application will no longer contain the SecretKey in the clear:

Even searching for a portion of the SecretKEY or the SecretKEY itself, will render the search useless. The SecretKEY is nowhere to be found in the SecurePATCH file.
