Executing the SecurePATCH file - part 2


When executed, all main events of the installer get recorded into a log file called SecureDELTA_Patch_Installer.log

 

The log file will be create in the same folder location with the source file and its content will be updated.


The file is always updated, never deleted by the Installer. Therefore, it will contain all the logged information from all the performed SW updates in that folder.



The log file logs important KEY actions and ERRORS like:


    • Pre-check of the Self-Extracting Installer
    • Fingerprint Check of the payload
    • Validity check of the Self-Extracting installer
    • Disk free space
    • Adler check on source file
